How important is Obama to the Black suffrage movement?

Q: My political science professor said that people are only interested in Obama because of his skin color and what he can do for the Black suffrage movement. Since Obama hasn't really done anything and hasn't spoken on the issues I think that more people are leaning towards voting for Senator McCain (especially if he is wise and chooses Governor Romney for his VP). No Missy, Sometimes Whites have a difficult time understanding Ebonics but "suffrage" is Ebonics for "suffering" in White English. So in White English it is "Black suffering." Leo, I think that people would ONLY vote for him if they could get a gift card. LOL! ...The Liberal mind...as I roll my eyes:)
